About The Guitar Gallery
The Guitar Gallery now operates in Auckland & Wellington.
Our downtown Auckland store can be found at 95 Queen Street, enter from Exchange Lane and find us on the first floor. Our Wellington store can be found in the cool Left Bank Arcade, between Cuba & Victoria Streets (map here). Both stores specialise in new and used guitars, basses, ukuleles, amplification, pedals, pickups along with accessories.
What’s different is that we love used & vintage instruments! We especially love trade-ins and part exchanges on most of the stock we carry. If you have a little more time or maybe something a little more specialist, we run a consignment sale service, so we can sell your guitar or amplifier – we make it easier as we can offer finance, credit card payment and trade-ins!
Selling a guitar or bass for over $2,000 online through an auction site is incredibly tricky – we can find that right customer for you and provide the ways for someone to buy your instrument. We can also help with insurance valuations, insurance for your equipment and assist with estate items – if you are dealing with instruments left to you by a deceased family member and you aren’t a musician, we can assist you gently, honestly and fairly.
We also have a great range of new products in store – we are a full range Fender dealer, and one of only a few Fender Custom Shop stockists in NZ, along with stocking the largest range of Martin guitars in NZ. With our comprehensive range of Lowden, Martin, Furch and other brands, we believe we are have the best selection of professional level acoustic guitars in the country.
The Guitar Gallery is the exclusive NZ retailer for Lowden Guitars & Sheeran Guitars from Ireland, Furch Guitars from Czechia, Maybach Guitars from Germany, String Swing Guitar Hangers & Stands, K&K Pickups, the amazing Tonewood Amplifier & Franklin Straps from the US, and Pedal Pawn pedals, Picato Strings & Klondyke Straps from the UK . Finally, in our Auckland store, you will find a great range of quality Ukuleles.
Finally, no guitar store is complete without a service department – and that’s exactly what we have. Repairs and setups can be booked in.
