This guitar is from the Vintage Series for those looking for top tier alternative to a mid/high end traditional acoustic.

The soundboard is individually tuned on each guitar using Furch’s voicing process which enhances the guitar’s tonal properties to the highest level, giving the guitar a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the tonal spectrum.

An issue we see with many mid price & high end guitars is the need for neck resets. Furch’s CNR Neck Design is something we are excited about as this system virtually guarantees a reset won’t ever be needed. A high precision, dual -action truss road maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth & controlled adjustment, ensuring the best playability and optimal setup. Finally, while Furch often ship from their factory with electronics and pickups installed, we have elected instead to offer pickups as an optional extra. One bit of feedback we often get is that people love their instrument, but have a favoured pickup system, often NOT the one included with their instrument. To give the maximum flexibility for your guitar, we can install any of the following from stock into your Furch: (additional cost apply for pickup but installation  is free when the pickup is purchased from us).

This guitar is a Vintage 1 OM-SR. To break this down, the Vintage Series comes in 3 levels, (Vintage 1, Vintage 2 & Vintage 3), OM meaning the body shape – an Orchestra Model, and finally ‘SR’ – these are the woods, Sitka Spruce & Indian Rosewood. This model is also available in:

D - Dreadnaught / Dc - Dreadnaught Cutaway / OMc – Orchestra Model Cutaway / OOM – Modified Orchestra Model – 12 Fret & higher positioned bridge. Left-handed models are all variations are available at no extra charge.

All models are available with 43mm and 48mm neck width.

A different series to the colour series, the Vintage series are built along more traditional lines.

The body is finished in Furch’s own Full-Pore Satin finish, developed to enhance the resonance qualities of the wood. It is a ultrathin layer of highly resistant lacquer providing excellent protection for the guitar. The foundation coats are high-gloss, and then the final layer is applied with a matte finish, giving the guitar its beautiful slightly matte appearance. It is finished off with traditional appointments such as a double ring rosette with black Walnut inlay, with man-made ivory body binding, and white Pearl side position markers and fingerboard inlays.

Machineheads are the excellent Gotoh SE700 Nickel Patina with 1:15 ratio.

Finally, to protect this fantastic instrument, a high quality Hiscox case is supplied.

In line with Furch’s Environmental commitments, the carbon footprint of this guitar is 15.2kg (reduced from 38kg).
