A very interesting model from Gibson here. It's a 1982 Gibson Sonex 180 Deluxe.
This was introduced to be a budget friendly line and was made from a material called 'Resonwood' with a solid Mahogany core and Japanese hardware.
A bolt-on neck really sets this one apart from a typical Gibson, it has such a gnarly bite to it with help from the Bill Lawrence designed 'Velvet Brick' Humbuckers, so it's very far from a bad sounding Guitar. It's got a nice weight to it, comfortable neck which is Maple with a Rosewood fretboard.
As you can see this one has been loved. It's got some lovely checking on the headstock and all parts function well. Plenty more miles in this one to crank out some Sludgy/Doom goodness.
No case is included but we do have options.
