Used – 1980 Greco Super Sound EG700 Sunburst

During the late 1970s and early 1980s, Greco was at the forefront of the Japanese "lawsuit era", building incredibly accurate and high-quality replicas of classic American guitars. This 1980 Greco Super Sound EG700 was Greco's best selling Les Paul copy and is a prime example of this golden age of Japanese guitar craftsmanship. Made at the legendary Fujigen factory, these guitars are renowned for their meticulous attention to detail and superior build quality, which some enthusiasts argue surpassed that of their Gibson counterparts at the time.

The EG700 features a solid mahogany neck and body with a maple cap, rosewood fretboard and lacquer finish. This model was fitted with the sought after Maxon U-2000 pickups; the covers have been removed which has opened these pickups up and they sound incredible!

Overall condition is good for its age; the pickguard is missing and the strap buttons are non original, but otherwise this guitar is in great shape and there is lots of life left in the frets.
