George Lowden has added another electric to the Lowden catalogue, and this may be his most beautiful creation yet. Loosely inspired by the ES-335 (but slightly smaller), it’s all-solid wood, with AAA Mahogany body with AAAA solid Figured Maple top. The GL-J features internal chambering – top and back – that not only keeps the weight in check but adds exceptional sustain and resonance. Outfitted with Lollar P-90s, and finished with hand rubbed lacquer and Midnight Blue stained top, the GL-J Figured Maple is a feast for the senses. It sounds like a dream, is easy on the eyes, and feels like you've been playing it forever. A masterpiece.
