The F-22C is a masterclass in understated elegance and acoustic purity. By combining George Lowden’s iconic F (Auditorium) body shape with a soft acoustic cutaway, this instrument provides maximum projection, crisp articulation, and effortless upper-register fret access.
The "22" series pairing of a solid AA Red Cedar soundboard and solid Mahogany back and sides creates a warm, highly touch-sensitive voice with a focused mid-range punch, excellent note separation, and an immediate, woody resonance. The neck features Lowden’s signature 5-piece Mahogany and Rosewood laminate construction with a hand-rubbed satin finish, topped with a clean, unadorned premium Ebony fingerboard. Eschewing synthetic plastics entirely, the appointments rely solely on natural wood bindings—including Sycamore, Walnut, and Mahogany purfling alongside an elegant multi-line wood rosette. The functional hardware package is completed by a Rosewood split-saddle bridge with a seamless string-through design and Gotoh Gold tuners with understated ebony buttons, all housed in the original Lowden-Ameritage hardshell case.
