A premium, Canadian-built parlor guitar that packs a focused, articulate acoustic voice into a highly compact, comfortable footprint. Built in Vancouver, Canada, the P-09E is part of Larrivée’s Artist Series, utilizing all-solid, high-grade tonewoods rather than the laminated materials common in standard travel-sized guitars.
The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a surprisingly deep low-end response and sparkling overtones for its size. The body is elegantly appointed with maple binding and an abalone rosette. Its single-piece mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard, a comfortable 1.75" nut width, and a shortened 24" scale length that keeps string tension light and easy on the hands.
This model is factory-equipped with the premium L.R. Baggs iMix system. The dual-source pickup combines the under-saddle Element piezo with an internal iBeam soundboard transducer. The soundhole-mounted controls allow you to blend between the direct punch of the piezo and the natural, woody resonance of the soundboard to optimize your tone for any venue.
