This 2013 Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute is built with a carved maple top and a mahogany back, featuring Gibson’s Modern Weight Relief routing to reduce body weight while maintaining low-end response and sustain. The unbound mahogany neck is carved to a chunkier 1950s profile with an asymmetrical design that is thicker on the bass side and thinner on the treble side for comfort. Additional '50s specs include an unbound body, cream hardware accents, gold top-hat knobs, and Kluson tuners. Two factory Gibson P90s provide a mid-range response and top-end clarity positioned between a standard single-coil and a humbucker, all finished in a thin Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer.
