The iconic Martin dreadnought is dressed up here with vintage herringbone binding, a 30's era zig zag back strip, and Diamonds and Squares long-pattern fretboard markers made from multi-color abalone shell. Book matched Sitka spruce top, matched with East Indian rosewood back and sides (including a book matched back), and ebony fingerboard atop a Modified Low Oval, High Performance Taper neck, combine with scalloped forward shifted X bracing to deliver the iconic depth and rich open resonance that built the Martin brand. Nickel patina open back tuners with the vintage butterbean shape and a  high-gloss finish of traditional nitrocellulose lacquer with aging toner ensure this guitar will only grow more beautiful with age.
