A very rare and clean example of an original 'Beatle' bass.
All original - the staple pickups have been expertly rewound and everything works as it should.
Pot codes date to '64, and features the bound Brazilian Rosewood board and raised logo of the era.
Frets are in good condition, and the thin lacquer finish is very tidy for it's age with only the odd little ding. The ebony bridge has chipped on the treble side but this does not affect playability.
Set up with flatwounds and plays great, it really has that sound.
Includes original Selmer tweed hardshell case.
