This is a truly killer guitar from Greco's golden era, made by Fujigen in February 1981 - just one year before they started building Fender's JV series!
The SE800 Super Real was one of Greco's top of the line Strat copies, featuring pre-CBS styling with a small headstock, maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, vintage Kluson-style double line "Greco Deluxe" tuners, bent steel bridge saddles, a full size steel tremolo block, and one or two piece ash bodies. The "J" models were Jeff Beck Signatures; featuring hot, large magnet single coils with custom switching for a huge range of tonal options. This SE800J is the earlier version with a standard Strat-style pickguard - these changed to a smaller pickguard later in '81.
Overall in great condition for its age, there are signs of play wear and the nickel hardware has tarnished, but the guitar is all original and functions perfectly.
