A super clean all-original MIJ bass from 1983!
Built in the famous Matsumoku factory in Japan, these golden era Arias have been loved for decades for their incredible value with great build quality, playability and tone; we honestly don't think there's much else out there that can beat these for the price!
The CSB-380 features a compact double cutaway ash body, and 3-piece quartersawn maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The 32" medium scale length is very comfortable - slightly shorter and easier to get around than a full scale, but more attack and sustain than a short scale bass. The original MB-1 pickup sounds incredible - halfway between a P bass and a Music Man humbucker - super fat and punchy but with great clarity and dynamics.
Overal condition is excellent for its age; all original and very clean with only a couple of very small dings. The frets are in good shape with plenty of life left and play great all the way up the neck. To top it all off, the original hard shell case is included.
