1997 Fender California Fat Stratocaster

An awesome 90's Stratocaster, the California Fat Start was a co-effort by the American and Mexican Fender Factories. Using all materials from the US with the Finishing of the body and neck being done in Mexico before being assembled and set-up again in the US.

It's in great condition for its age with little play ware visible. Of course its got the odd surface scratch, dulling of hardware and the pickguard has now faded to give it an aged 'yellow' look. But overall it's begging to be played. It's an 'HSS' configuration with 'Tex-Mex' pickups, which are pretty hot but not overkill. It has a very comfy 'C' shape neck, medium Jumbo Frets and maple fretboard, it's a classic do-it-all Strat! The Black and Maple look is super iconic and it has a nice weight to it (8.3 pounds or 3.7kg) it also comes with a hard case, tremolo bar and original Fender booklet.
