Handcrafted American hollowbody legend - the best four words I can think of to describe the Heritage H-575.
When Gibson decided to close their original Kalamazoo factory in 1985, three employees chose to set up their own company and workshop in the now vacant building instead of moving to Tennessee. Using the name Heritage to reflect their collective guitar making tradition, they started producing small numbers of handcrafted instruments. Heritage is still going strong today as a boutique producer of brilliant guitars, remaining in the very same Parsons Street factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This H-575 is a stunning example of a hollowbody electric guitar. With all-solid curly maple construction and carved back and sides, this guitar has an amazing resonance and natural sustain to it without even plugging it in. The original Heritage pickups suit the guitar perfectly too - lending itself not only to pristine clean tones, but opening up beautifully when given some dirt!
Overall, this guitar is in very good condition, although the original wooden pickguard has fallen victim to the common problem of cracking - it's still included in the sale though!
Includes original Heritage hard shell case.
