This 2018 D'Angelico Excel EXL-1 is a sophisticated tribute to the golden age of archtops, blending timeless Art Deco aesthetics with modern playability. Its 17-inch-wide, 3-inch-deep body features a laminated spruce top and flame maple back and sides, producing the woody, punchy midrange and rich resonance essential for classic jazz tones.
