2020 Ibanez JSM100-VT

The JSM100 is a faithful recreation of jazz-rock guitarist John Scofield's trusty 1981 AS200, which had long been his primary guitar. Every aspect of that AS200 was carefully measured and faithfully recreated in the JSM100. Among the differences requested by Scofield for the JSM100 are a side-mounted output jack and elimination of the AS200's Tri-sound switch.

The JSM100 features a thin, double cutaway, semi-hollow figured Anigre top with f-holes and multi-layer binding and figured Anigre back and sides. The set-in African mahogany neck has 22 Jumbo frets, a 184mm to 250mm compound radius bound ebony fingerboard, and acrylic/abalone split block position markers. Hardware includes dual Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with gold covers, a Gotoh 510BN bridge with GE101A tailpiece, a half-bone/half-brass nut, and Gotoh machine heads.
