The Rippa Drive is a Flexible Overdrive and Distortion
BigNoise designed 'Swiss Army type' overdrive that can also go distortion and cleanish boost.
With low Bite settings it is a clean to lower gain drive, crank up both Bite and Drive and we are in distortion type sounds.
Very tweakable tone stack allows for mid focus or mid scoop, cutting through with defined treble or taking presence down for a softer sound.
Grit switch controls the clipping arrangement and the character of drive, middle position is the cleanest, up or down give more gainy sounds.
The punch switches internally from 9 to 18V for more headroom and cut through, less compression. (Important: only use 9V centre negative power supply)!
