The Pioneer-MM guitar features all-solid Western Red Cedar soundboard and African Mahogany back and sides, with an ebony fretboard and bridge. Furch's innovative Booster Soundport directs sound towards the player, and increases clarity and resonance by reducing internal air pressure within the guitar’s body. This allows the top board to move more freely and produce a stronger, fuller sound.

Finally, while Furch often ship from their factory with electronics and pickups installed, we have elected instead to offer pickups as an optional extra. One bit of feedback we often get is that people love their instrument, but have a favoured pickup system, often NOT the one included with their instrument. To give the maximum flexibility for your guitar, we can install any pickup from stock into your Pioneer; if you purchase a K&K pickup with your Pioneer, we will waive the installation fee!
