Innovative design, high quality tonewoods, and a stellar commitment to environmental sustainability has helped Furch build a great reputation in Europe & the US, gaining sales from the established brands in this price point.

This guitar is from the Vintage Series for those looking for top tier alternative to a mid/high end traditional acoustic.

The soundboard is individually tuned on each guitar using Furch’s voicing process which enhances the guitar’s tonal properties to the highest level, giving the guitar a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the tonal spectrum.

An issue we see with many mid-high end guitars is the need for neck resets. Furch’s CNR Neck Design is something we are excited about as this system virtually guarantees a reset won’t ever be needed. A high precision, dual -action truss road maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth & controlled adjustment, ensuring the best playability and optimal setup. Finally, while Furch often ship from their factory with electronics and pickups installed, we have elected instead to offer pickups as an optional extra. One bit of feedback we often get is that people love their instrument, but have a favoured pickup system, often NOT the one included with their instrument. To give the maximum flexibility for your guitar, we can install any of the following from stock into your Furch: (additional cost apply for pickup but installation is free when the pickup is purchased from us).

This guitar is a Vintage 2 D-SR. To break this down, the Vintage Series comes in 3 levels, (Vintage 1, Vintage 2 & Vintage 3), D meaning the body shape – a Dreadnought, and finally ‘SR’ – these are the woods, Sitka Spruce & Indian Rosewood. This model is also available in:

Dc - Dreadnaught Cutaway / OM – Orchestra Model / OMc – Orchestra Model Cutaway / OOM – Modified Orchestra Model – 12 Fret & higher positioned bridge. Left-handed models are all variations are available at no extra charge.

All models are available with 43mm and 48mm neck width.

A different series to the colour series, the Vintage series are built along more traditional lines.

The body is finished in Furch’s own Full-Pore Vintage finish, a special finish that provides excellent protection for the guitar whilst accentuating the structure of the wood. Finished with hand-buffing leaves the guitar with an attractive patina reminiscent of an aged guitar.

Other appointments include body, headstock and fingerboard binding made from faux ivory, and the top has beautiful Herringbone purfling. The Rosette has a double ring of green Abalone, finished with a contrasting Black & White line. The Headstock has an Ebony overlay, and black side position markers and Pearl fingerboard inlays enhance the exclusive appearance of the guitar.

Machine heads are the excellent Gotoh SE700 Gold Patina with 1:15 ratio.

Finally, to protect this fantastic instrument, a high quality Hiscox case is supplied.

In line with Furch’s Environmental commitments, the carbon footprint of this guitar is 16.5kg (reduced from over 41kg).
