The Original Series was the very first Lowden range from 1976, just as the ‘O’ model is George’s original Lowden body design.

The Lowden O-22C features a Mahogany back and sides and Red Cedar top, a classic tonewood combination that has been used on acoustic guitars for generations. It perfectly blends projection and dynamics with a crisp high end clarity and a warm midrange. For this model, we have specified a cutaway, but the non-cutaway model is available to order, as are left handed models.

No pickup is fitted, but we can install your pickup of choice - including the LR Baggs Anthem, or K&K Pure Mini or Trinity. Contact us for more details.
