George Lowden has added another electric to the Lowden catalogue, and this may be his most beautiful creation yet.
Loosely inspired by the ES-335 ( but slightly smaller), it’s all-solid wood, with AAA Mahogany body with AAAA solid Koa top. The GL-J features internal chambering – top and back – that not only keeps the weight in check but adds exceptional sustain and resonance. Outfitted with Lollar Imperials, and finished with hand rubbed lacquer, the GL-J Koa is a feast for the senses. It sounds like a dream, is easy on the eyes, and feels like you've been playing it forever.
A Lowden electric guitar. A masterpiece.
