Solace Instruments' Dave Pauling has created an exceptional line of hand built guitars and basses that are both visually and sonically stunning right here in Aotearoa. 

Crafted in his Marlborough workshop using repurposed and native timbers, paired with exceptional electronics and hardware, each guitar is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, and a bona-fide work of art.

This Solace Southern Deluxe Bass has a recycled NZ rimu body with walnut top with Tōtaranui top carve feature, a tempered maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, Mr. Glyn flipped PBass pickups.
