This old Greco has got some serious mojo and is in great shape for an axe that will be turning 50 next year!!
For those not in the know, the SE800 was one of Greco's higher end models made by Fujigen before they started building Fender's JV series! This particular SE800 is a first year "Super Sound" model and is loosely based on a pre-CBS Strat with '50s styling and a 1-piece maple neck. Notably, these first gen SE800s feature stock Schaller tuning machines! As far as we can tell everthing on the guitar is original, down to the vintage style 3-way switch. The pickups are crystal clear and sound stellar!
Overall in good condition for it's age, the finish on the back of the neck shows that this guitar has been very well played in, but there is still plenty of life left in the frets. Note that there is a screw hole in the headstock from a previously installed second string tree.
