Gibson have really returned to their roots with these new Standards, paying homage to the golden era Les Pauls with classic finishes, non-weight-relieved Mahogany bodies and revoiced Burstbuckers for that classic, airy PAF tone. The SlimTaper profile necks on these are some of the best we've felt on a Les Paul too, a slightly slimmer modern cousin to a '59.
This example is in great condition, the AA figured maple top and Iced Tea lacquer finish look stunning, and the nickel hardware has started to age, making this standard look very similar to an R9 VOS. The frets are in perfect condition and the rosewood board is nice and dark. The only blemish is a tiny ding on the corner of the headstock.
Includes all original case candy and Gibson hard shell case.
