It's big, it's black, it's fuzzy.
This is a very tidy 2004 Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, made in Russia. This is the last iteration of the Russian made Big Muffs before production moved back to NYC. Tonally darker and slightly lower gain than the current big box "USA" model, but with better clarity. Compared to the infamous V7 Green Russian, these are slightly brighter and less woolly (and considerably lighter weight), but definitely related. A very solid do-it-all fuzz and excellent introduction to vintage Big Muffs.
No wooden box sorry!
