Used – 1986 Ovation 1616 Nylon Electro-Acoustic Guitar

This 1986 Ovation 1616 Standard Balladeer is a US-made, nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar built in New Hartford, Connecticut, representing the brand’s "golden era" of American craftsmanship. It features a professional-grade solid Sitka Spruce top and hand-finished construction that offers superior tonal stability and collectible value compared to later overseas models.

The guitar uses a Deep Bowl design for increased acoustic volume and low-end, paired with a traditional 2" nut width neck for standard classical string spacing. For amplified play, it includes the original FET preamp with volume and tone controls. This guitar is a workhorse and has some battle scars from its 40 years of service, but it is structurally stable with good fret life and comfortable action.
