Cort Gold-OC8 Electro-Classical Guitar

This is a guitar we have been waiting for for quite some time, and now it's here, it doesn't disappoint!

The Gold-OC8 Nylon is the very first Gold series Classical guitar with top-tier woods, materials, technology, and craftsmanship. Cort’s modern take on the oldest form of guitar, the OC8 Nylon is built with Solid Engelmann Spruce for rich and full midrange, and is equipped with top of the line Fishman Flex Blend system. The neck is a slim (hybrid) neck with a 48mm nut width, with a beautiful ebony fingerboard. 

The top is Engelmann spruce that exhibits a clear and smooth top-end that is responsive to a light soft touch, making it ideal for solo fingerstyle players or folk/pop singer-songwriters where the acoustic guitar takes center stage.

For the back and sides, Pau Ferro, also known as Morado, Santos Rosewood or Bolivian Rosewood, boasts many of the qualities that are highly regarded in tonewood that is close to Indian Rosewood. It is stable, abrasion resistant, stiff, attractive, exotic and has good impression strength parallel to the grain.

The body shape is based on a cutaway OM body. Sonically it delivers a sound that is larger than its compact size would hint at and with a level of dynamic responsiveness that makes it a joy to play.

The Fishman Flex Blend Pickup system offers a wide range of sonic control along with a built-in tuner. Volume, Tone, Phase, Blend and Tuner functions are all available from three knobs and the tuner display. You can also adjust the Tone knob to best suit fingerpicking or strumming techniques without feedback issues and other sonic anomalies while delivering the most natural acoustic sound to your amplification system.

Finally, a high quality rigid gig bag is included.
