The A4 is the first guitar in the Handcrafted series to feature mahogany reinforcement in the neck for stability and strength. Ebony has also been selected for the back and sides, and on the back a kabukalli inlay is set down the middle for strength and looks. Like the other guitars in the Handcrafted series, this guitar combines a solid cedar top with premium materials and expert workmanship in the Spanish tradition.
Made in accordance with Spanish methods, Admira Handcrafted guitars feature a Spanish heel, lightweight solid cedar tops and carefully constructed struts for power, volume and clarity in tone. The Spanish heel is a complicated neck joint where neck and heel are carved from one piece of wood that is interlocked with the sides of the body, giving enhanced tonal qualities compared to a standard glued neck design.
The builders chosen for the Admira Handcrafted workshop use premium wood and other materials including bone nut and saddle and quality machine heads for reliable and easy tuning.
