The more advanced guitars in the Handcrafted line show off the skills of the best builders available to the Admira workshop. The A15 exhibits their skill in the intricate rosewood/maple binding and double inlay on back, and careful fretwork in the ebony fingerboard. A strip of rosewood built into the mahogany neck reinforces it against backbow and ensures stability, working in tandem with the quality golden lyre machine heads. Performance and playability are outstanding thanks to the shaped bone saddle and nut and overall build quality.
Made in accordance with the traditional Spanish methods, Admira Handcrafted guitars feature a Spanish heel, lightweight solid cedar tops and carefully constructed struts for power, volume and clarity in tone. The Spanish heel is a complicated neck joint where neck and heel are carved from one piece of wood that is interlocked with the sides of the body, giving enhanced tonal qualities compared to a standard glued neck design.
The builders chosen for the Admira Handcrafted workshop use premium wood and other materials including bone nut and saddle and quality machine heads for reliable and easy tuning.
